Cudahy Mural Contest
Overview
The City of Cudahy is selecting an art mural to be displayed on a building, located on the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Clara Street. The winner will have a chance to paint the chosen submitted sketch on the 50x12’ wall facing Atlantic Boulevard. Equipment will be paid for by the City. Apart from the submission of the sketch, applicants should also provide a list of materials needed to paint the mural.
To enter, applicant must submit a concept/sketch by completing the form below by March 2, 2022, 6 p.m. Only one submission is allowed per applicant. The mural must be based on the theme below:

Application Form
Rules
- Applicant must be over the age of 18.
- Application and art piece must be approved by the City.
- No profanity or explicit content on murals allowed.
- Submission is free.
- City will provide supplies for mural.
- Artist must sign in at Check-in before any work begins.
- Painting times 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Thursday. All painting must be completed by date agreed by the City.
- Paint 50ft x 12ft primed wall. Mural must be painted to edges of primed panel.
- Judged by selected City staff and officials.
- Open to all artists. Cudahy residents encouraged to submit art.
- Artist is responsible for lodging.
- Must be present to win.
